Stanley L. “Stan” Kennedy, 91, of Bluffs passed away Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2019, at the Scott County Nursing Center in Winchester. He was born, Sept. 29, 1927, in Sandy Springs, OH, the son Marshall O. and Ellen Redden Kennedy. Surviving are four children, Joyce (Harold) Morthole of Bluffs, Kenny Kennedy of Astoria, Connie (Randall) Shy of West Portsmouth, OH, and James S. Kennedy of Michigan; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; and one brother, Carl (Judy) Kennedy of Ludlow, KY. Stan was preceded in death by one son, Stanley Kennedy Jr. and four sisters. Cremation rights have been accorded. The Daws Family Funeral Home in Bluffs is overseeing the arrangements.
